WASA Gujranwala an agency of Gujranwala Development Authority (GDA) was created in the year November 1997 for execution of water supply, and sewerage projects and their maintenance through generation of funds by levying user charges on consumers of water supply and sewer facilities. Presently WASA Gujranwala is providing water and sewerage services to 73 urban union councils (93 sq. Km). Water Supply system coverage is 37% whereas the coverage of Sewerage/Drainage System is 70%.
